Arsenal Blog Chamakh Finally confirms he is Arsenal bound and other Arsenal transfer rumors

Maroaune Chamakh has finally confirmed for the first time in media that he would be joining Arsenal in few days when transfer window opens. It has been one of the worst kept secrets in footballing history. Everyone knew that Arsene has been in pursuit of Bordeaux star from last year itself and we were almost certain to sign him last summer however deal was called off with Bordeaux asking for more transfer money. Whats interesting is, in the same article Chamakh mentions he did decline higher wages offered to him by Spurs and Liverpool to join Arsenal. Now this would have already made him a huge hit with fans as it leaves cunts wagging their balls time and again without any luck. Last season Arshavin snubbed Spurs to join Arsenal and this year its time for Chamakh. For me Chamakh has the potential to become quite successful at Arsenal. He is good in air and at the same time tricky in the box. Unlike traditional strikers he can link up play from the midfield and also can be used as a lone striker upfront away from home.

Elsewhere Gallas has almost made it clear that he wont be accepting a single year contract at Arsenal and might possibly be leaving Arsenal this summer. With Gallas set to leave it would be imperative that we find a quality defender who can play alongside Vermaelen. Few reports have linked us with a swoop for Mamadou Sakho, france under 21 and PSG center back. I have seen a bit of "Mamadou Sakho" and he looked quite promising to me however is quite young at 20 to replace someone as experienced as Gallas. If Gallas goes we need a proven defender if we want to win anything this year. Time and again we have been vulnerable at back and we need a leader like Sol, Adams, Keown who can shepherd this team with his presence and experience. For me ideal pick would be Hangeland however he has made it clear that he is too happy to leave Fulham.

Finally, Spurs have won against Manchester City which secures them a CL spot. Well this makes me happy not that I would want Spurs to do well otherwise but the fact that "Ade cunt Bayor" wont be playing CL football excites me more. Well thats all for today, will return tomorrow with more Arsenal transfer news and speculations.......
